With our Airline Operational Control application on portable electronic devices (AOC on PED), you will have an unmatched solution for enabling your airline fleet to use a single application for flight operations tasks on iOS PEDs.
The application embeds a modern user interface to simplify crew actions. It also includes a media-agnostic connectivity solution that can integrate your aircraft into your airline operations network.
Through traditional AOC hosting, the application enables functionality for cockpit crew communications, flight performance and operational data exchange with airline operations. It uses legacy ACARS communication means and avionics displays, such as the multifunctional control display unit.
The AOC on PED features enhanced graphical widgets and offers the display capabilities of PEDs. Your users will have the intuitive, immediately familiar experience of the PED’s touchscreen interaction. The application complements avionics AOC to provide a smart user
interface.
For connectivity, AOC on PED can transmit over legacy ACARS or IP networks, according to your airline customized rules. It also can seamlessly integrate with your existing airline ground infrastructure.
Our new-generation Intuitive Multiplatform AOC Customization Tool (IMACT) includes a software tool that enables rapid and efficient customization and validation of the AOC on PED application using a single, cross-fleet strategy. IMACT embeds a consistent catalog of features, based on our extensive knowledge of AOC capabilities. You can customize these
features to your requirements.
We’re committed to developing new features that will extend AOC on PED. These include: digital map displays with overlay capabilities for weather or flight-path data; enhancements for airline operational efficiency; and advanced functionalities to manage new interfaces, IP communication protocols and access to avionics data.
